Beth Israel Deaconess is a not-for-profit organization serving 12-towns in Plymouth and Barnstable Counties. Established in 1901, Jordan is a full service, 155-bed, acute care community hospital accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO); the Commission of Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists; the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, and the American College of Radiology.

Jordan Hospitals scope of services includes both inpatient and outpatient and spans more than 30 medical specialties. Among these are: a 25-bed emergency department, 8 state-of-the-art operating room suites, cardiovascular center, a comprehensive cancer center, including a new state of the art Breast Center. A partial listing of other services include: pain management, occupational health, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, respiratory therapy, rehabilitation, and Hospice and Palliative Care.
